Sierra: Barefoot Endurance Horse

Sierra was a Premarin rescue, not the type of horse usually used for endurance racing.  Sierra's human, Peggy Hoyt of Chuluota, FL, decided to start racing with Sierra just for fun.  To her surprise, they did very well, and Sierra and her bare hooves passed all vet checks with flying colors.

Cupid:  Who says Thorough-breds have bad hooves?

Cupid has always been barefoot and always lived a natural lifestyle provided by his human Sheryl Frick of Dade City.  When not doing dressage, Sheryl and Cupid trail ride on the hard-packed red clay and rock roads around their home.
